Overland Softgoods

Overland Softgoods was built from the ground up and started with a few real-life needs. Moisture and temperature control are two challenges people have when camping in their GoFast Tents, and sometimes these problems can prevent them from spending more time doing the thing they love. Scott and Sharon, as avid campers, outdoors people, and owners of a GoFast XL Camper, engaged the many talented resources in the Eagle River valley, where they live, to see how they could tackle this problem. 

Scott and Sharon also have a 4x4 Sprinter Van. When they started looking for insulated window coverings, it was either DIY or something cheaply made from overseas. A small suite of products were soon developed to meet these specific needs with an emphasis on sourcing the highest percentage of goods “made in the USA”. 

The business took off from there. Insulated tents for other brands of rooftop tents are currently in research and development and we are consistently building the highest quality products. Contact us to find out if your brand is on the list!

Sharon Pope

  • Scott was born and raised in Oklahoma. He came to Colorado to ski, ride bikes, and live his best life. Scott is an avid outdoorsman and talented photographer. His favorite outdoor activities include landscape photography, 4 wheeling, camping and finding what’s around the next bend in the road. Overland Softgoods is an important passion project for him because he loves being outside as often as possible. Scott’s expertise lies in talking through ideas and dreaming big.   • Sharon’s love for the outdoors began when she was introduced to tent camping as a child. After spending several adventure-filled summers in Colorado, it was a dream fulfilled when she permanently moved to Colorado in 1994. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include trail running, hiking, and mountain biking. She is excited to share her love of outdoor, overnight adventures with others and is passionate about making the outdoors more accessible and comfortable in all conditions. As entrepreneurs, Sharon and Scott have owned and operated many successful businesses.
